OK, it has begun.
The First Annual Silicon Valley Science Fiction Short Film Festival will be held October 8th in Mountain View, CA.

We are currently accepting submissions of films 30 minutes and under (though we'll watch and might even show, anything under an hour if it's good enough) Science Fiction will be broadly defined as anything tech-themed or with serious elements of fantasy in the modern world. We'd also like to show a couple of tech-themed docs as a sort of cinematic sorbet.

There is no submission fee. We can only show DVD, so we'd prefer DVD for review (which will also save a filmmaker from having the ship a presentation copy later)

All enquiries can go to garcia@computerhistory.org
and submissions should be accompanied by email address and any press info to
Christopher Garcia
1401 N. Shoreline Blvd.
Mountain View, CA 94043
Submissions must be received by August 15th, 2005

Thanks
Chris
