The FX Movie

Hey guys, here is my first attempt at a 'special effects" movie. It's a tribute to all of the over-the-top blockbuster movies with crazy effects. I didn't have access to a green screen studio, so I just shot everything in my apartment and had to rotoscope (trace) all the characters frame by frame to get them all in the same shot. Take a look and let me know what you think:

I wrote the script and shot the whole thing in under 3 hours because I was so excited to get started on the effects. (i like post production much more than production)

In retrospect, I should have organized my shot list a little better and placed tape on the floor to indicate spots where to throw a punch and receive a punch. I had to just base it on my memory - which wasn't always accurate. (i.e. i misjudged the position i was standing where I elbow the enemy in the face by about 1.5 feet so my elbow actually goes through his skull!)

If I had access to a green screen, I would have shot everything on that, but I didn't so it was shot in my living room (lol) and every character that came in contact with another character had to be rotoscoped frame by grueling frame. (the majority of the FX was spent rotoscoping out their conflicting shadows and limbs)
